The Canadian electro-pop project LEATHERS (Shannon Hemmett, ACTORS) is back with a new single “Crash”. With her unmistakable songwriting talent, Hemmett furthers the dark, electro-pop majesty of last year’s singles ‘Fascination‘ and ‘Highrise‘, and delivers a captivating new track for her loyal and ever-growing fan base.
On the new track, Hemmett comments: “I’ve been exploring the theme of danger in my writing. ‘Crash’ is about the literal danger we find ourselves in, but also the tempting and insidious kind of trouble we can get into with the right company.”
Leathers is playing at Cruel World Festival on 11th May 2024 at Brookside at The Rose Bowl, in Pasadena, CA.
