Drownd announce signing to Armalyte Records and new EP release

London- and LA-based industrial act Drownd have not only just signed to the legendary industrial label Armalyte Records, they have also announced their long-awaited EP “Sick Like You”, which will be their first of three upcoming releases with the label. “Sick Like You” will feature a solid, provocative title track showcasing the band’s harsh yet diverse sound and musicianship, and will also include remixes from The Joy Thieves and Armalyte’s own Seething Akira.

drowndArmalyte has had this to say about their latest signing, showing their excitement for what the future holds for Drownd:

“We are extremely excited to announce the signing of DROWND to the Armalyte roster for three fantastic EP releases in 2019. Armalyte Records exists on three very simple principles, the music has to be memorable, top quality and #teamarmalyte has to be totally into it. We believe the addition of DROWND to Armalyte Records strengthens our already talented roster and puts industrial music, our reason to exist, into sharp focus for the label.

Not only are DROWND one of the most exciting new bands that we’ve ever been lucky enough to work with, but they are also the most comprehensively ambitious, for such a relatively new band, we’ve been amazed at the scope of their vision, which puts many, far more established, artists to shame. Coupled with this, DROWND have both great music and very strong visual presence, making them the complete package for us.  We know they are going to hit hard.

Armalyte cannot wait to join DROWND as they begin fuelling the world with their own brand of filth, starting this April…”

“Sick Like You” releases on April 12th.
