Markus Reinhardt of Hamburg based hit-making synth- pop duo Wolfsheim returns with his new project Renard. The debut solo album Waking Up In A Different World showcases Reinhardt’s signature intimate songwriting in symbiosis with renowned producers Oliver Blair (Ladytron, Client, Kelli Ali of Sneaker Pimps, etc) and the Hamburg based Chaos Compressor Club (Moddi, Love A, etc). The album features several talented singers. The lead single ‘Travel In Time’ features Pascal Finkenauer on vocals. Other collaborations include urban-folk artist Joseh, Sarah Blackwood of Client and Dubstar, the multiple award-winning Greek vocalist/composer Marietta Fafouti, Berlin based but Australia made Eliza Hiscox and German singer Marian Gold, co-founder of legendary synth-pop band Alphaville. The album is an ambitious musical rebirth for Reinhardt post-Wolfsheim. It will be released on 9 October 2020 on Metropolis Records.
