Statiqbloom announce new album “Asphyxia” and first-ever UK shows

US industrial electronic duo Statiqbloom, consisting of Theologian’s Fade Kainer and Semita Serpens’ Denman C Anderson, are set to release their newest album “Asphyxia” on June 7th, starting off their record deal with Metropolis Records on the right track. The first single from the Asphyxiaalbum, “Eight Hearts Eight Spikes”, is already released.

This new album draws inspiration from gritty early 80s industrial and EBM, creating dark, harsh yet almost hallucinogenic music with an intricate mix of hard, thumping beats, haunting electronic sounds and at times haunting vocals that will leave you wanting more.

“Asphyxia” follows 2018’s six-track EP “Infinite Spectre” and its predecessor, 2017’s “Blue Moon Blood”. The duo have also announced their first-ever live shows in the UK, playing at The Glove That Fits in London on June 11th and Nice N Sleazy in Glasgow the following day, June 12th.

Give “Asphyxia”‘s first single “Eight Hearts Eight Spikes” a listen on Bandcamp, and while you’re there, you can pre-order the album in digital, CD and vinyl formats as well.
