Amphi Festival announced its return to Tanzbrunnen Cologne. Despite the MS RheinEnergie, being recently added as an extra venue, the total capacity for Amphi Festival 2016 has been reduced by one fourth from 16.000 to 12.000 visitors! As consequence festival tickets are now limited even stronger than ever.
Numerous musical highlights (like Editors, Project Pitchfork, Covenant, Blutengel, Tarja …), merchants, DJs and of course the wonderful Tanzbrunnen ambience again promise relaxed open-air atmosphere along the Rhine on 23rd & 24th July 2016.
As usual original tickets are exclusively available at the Amphi Shop www.amphi-shop.de . Amphi Festival tickets can also be purchased on all CTS/EVENTIM and TICKETMASTER box-offices as well as online at www.eventim.de, www.oeticket.com , www.ticketcorner.ch , www.eventim.nl and via PRINT@HOME. All already bought ticket will remain valid for the changed venue.
On 22.07.2016 it´s time again for another edition of CALL THE SHIP TO PORT. Alongside the musical offerings, served by APOPTYGMA BERZERK and OOMPH!, the MS RheinEnergie itself plays of course a major role of the evening. Europes biggest domestic eventship and its crew already look forward to untie the ropes and take you on an excursion along the Rhine. From the old town panorama to the industrial complex of the „Godorfer Hafen“ and back to the nightly shores of Cologne with the famous cathedral lit in the dark, this journey creates an unforgettable experience!
Meanwhile, by no surprise, the opening event “CALL THE SHIP TO PORT 2016” went sold-out weeks in advance. For those who didn’t catch their ship-ticket in time we recommend visiting the official pre-party at the Theater am Tanzbrunnen instead. On Friday, 22.07., from 10:00 pm we have DJs Alex Wesselsky, Adrian Hates, Erk Aicrag and DJ MSTH spinning for you. Admission is 6 + charges.

Also this year’s announcers are confirmed. Dr. Mark Benecke and Oliver Klein will once more to guide you through the programme, accompanied by Jens Puppekopp (X-Divide).
And Amphi completed the programme with the final missing bands TUSN and Beyond Obsession!
