Project MIDIAN DITE
Genre: Electro Metal (a mix of EMB, industrial, black metal, reflected in melodic rhythms with a dark atmosphere).
Founded in May 2013, Guadalajara/Mexico.
The significance of the group name: Midian – taken from the Clive Barker’s movie ‘Nightbreed’, which means Mother of God, and Dite – taken from Dante’s Divine Comedy is adopted as the capital of sin.
Members: Midian Dite (voice, lyrics, samples) and the founder of the group, Zaid (bass, guitar), DJ Black Sonne (sequencers and synths)
The concept of the project is influenced by writers such as Aleister Crowley, Marquis de Sade, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Georges Bataille.
Midian Dite has been presented throughout the Mexican Republic in cities such as Mexico City, Naucalpan, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosi, Queretaro, Leon, Guadalajara, Morelia, Morelia and Zacatecas.
Midian has shared the stage with groups including Therion, Hocico, Centhron, God Module and C-Lekktor and played at the Heaven and Hell festival in Mexico.
In September 2015 Midian Dite released his first videoclip of the song ‘Together We Are One’ and in October 2015 released ‘The Path of Truth.’
