Yvette Winkler is an artist from Utrecht, The Netherlands. She shoots mainly portrait series which speak about fragility and vulnerability of the human spirit. Yvette became interested in photography while taking a course at Hogeschool van Amsterdam where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design and Teaching. After finishing the studies, she has worked as a photography and fashion teacher for children and young adults for 10 years at Utrechts Centrum voor de Kunsten. Yvette is also a singer and a lyricist for Vaselyne, a collaborative music project with the Dutch musician and producer Frank Weyzig.
